Future In Liberia

Liberia has a population of around 3,042,004 which makes it the 136th largest population out of 238 sovereign nations, of which 60%+ are of non-Christian faith. Their life expectancy is 39.65 years, and of there population, 6% of them are Aids positive. As you can see there is a large need for the word of God in this country. Recently Bill Fischer was contacted by an orphanages in Liberia that he is in relationship with - 45 children are without food, and the orphanage without funds. What do you say to that? I'll pray for you? No, we need to act on it. Do we need to give them some money and say that is good enough.  No, why not provide a future for these type of ministries though the purchases of income opportunities that will not only provide a means for them now, but for the future.

During our Fundraiser in Kalispell, MT God showed up in a powerful way. In one of our Board of Directors prayer meetings before the fundraiser, we all just felt like God was telling us it's not about the money, and that we were to be a blessing to everyone that came. The evening turned out nothing like what I had first imagined it to be, but lets face it, so many times we see things differently than what God has planned, and I'm so glad that it did go differently because it was way better than I ever could have imagined it. Part of the way through us presenting our vision of what God has planned through KPGI ministry, Bob said he just felt like we were to pray over each person that came to the event, and we all knew that was what we were supposed to do. Almost immediately God started moving in such powerful ways, so much prophetic word was spoken over so many lives that where touched in a dramatic and life changing ways. The time of prayer and thanksgiving went on for a couple of hours, well past our rented time of the facilities, but it was so mighty and powerful. At the end of the meeting we all gathered around and were just in ah of what God had done. The ways he had moved in peoples lives.  Liberia is on our hearts in such a powerful way. I mean there are children without food. I really liked the way that Steve White put it that evening. He said, " How can I go to bed at night and think to myself, well done good and faithful servant, when I know there are those kids starving in Liberia and I have done nothing yet to help them. I Can Not!" And that is the truth, we can't just sit here. So at the end of the meeting all of the directors where talking and we all just felt that God was telling us to give to the orphanage in Liberia all of the finances we had been blessed with that night. I know that God has every dollar earmarked for Liberia that they are in need of even as I am typing it on this webpage. I just ask you for your prayers to cover over Liberia and their ongoing needs.
